Professor Jean Twenge has completed her research into GenMe - a generation of young people who are confident and ambitious, yet depressed and lonely. Host Tom Fudge speaks to Twenge and gets reactions from a therapist and a GenMe graduate student.

Professor Jean Twenge will be signing copies of her book this Saturday, April 8th. The event will take place at Barnes and Noble at Grossmont Center.

  • Jean Twenge (right) , associate professor of psychology at San Diego State. She is the author of the new book called Generation Me.
  • David Peters (center) , Marriage and Family therapist in private practice. He's also an occasional These Days guest.
  • Jennifer Crowhurst , she's a first year graduate student. She's also got some good stories about growing up as part of GenMe.
