Host Tom Fudge talks with the state superintendent of public instruction about the annual results of the STAR test. Tests scores improved overall, but the most students are still less than proficient. How does San Diego compare to the rest of the state? What can be done to increase scores?

STAR results are available by school, district, county, and state from the California Department of Education .
