: Today is the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. That day, that will live in infamy, happened 65 years ago. And it set in motion a series of events that would profoundly change the United States and the rest of the world. America lost most of its Navy that day. Yet our involvement in the war spurred a huge military mobilization and a production of war material, the like of which this country had never seen.
