As 2006 winds down, the city of San Diego’s pension-related problems have not gone away. The city attorney was hoping that a judge would look favorably on his lawsuit to roll back 10 years worth of employee benefits. If successful, the move could save the city about $900 million to the city. But instead, Judge Jeffrey Barton handed Mr. Aguirre a major set-back. Host Gloria Penner talks with City Attorney Mike Aguirre about that ruling and other city matters.
