Coffee: Fifteen vehicle occupants killed within CHP jurisdiction.  Of those 15, 13 of them were not wearing their seat belts.

Coffee credits the CHP’s maximum enforcement period over the weekend.  That means up to 80 percent of all available officers are out on the road.  She says they’ll be doing the same thing for the New Year’s holiday weekend.
