Music and art education face changes

The No Child Left Behind Act has made music education core curriculum in public schools. Tom Fudge speaks with local organizers about the state of music education in San Diego as well as innovative programs that help keep the arts alive under the current budget constraints.

  • Ron Jesse is the VAPA Coordinator for the San Diego office of Education. He oversees the needs of 42 school districts in San Diego county.
