Audio

Aired 4/19/09

From 1966 to 1972, more than three-quarters of a million U.S. servicemen witnessed the Jean London Show. Based on the grounds of Camp Pendleton, the stage show was the longest-running one of its kind in the history of the armed forces. Today the man who conceived and produced the show is giving it a new life online at www.vietnamjeanlondonshow.com . Ace Lundon joins us for a look back at a slice of San Diego history.

Guest:

  • Ace Lundon , the creator and producer of the Jean London Show, a variety act that entertained U.S. servicemen from 1966 to 1972, Ace is now creating a website to document the show's history.
