With one in 166 children diagnosed with autism in the U.S., what is causing the increase? Host Tom Fudge asks about the latest research into autism and therapies to help kids overcome some of the most significant symptoms.
- Doris Trauner , M.D. Professor of neuroscience and pediatrics at UCSD School of Medicine. She's also an attending physician at Children's Hospital and Health Center.
- Isaac Pessah , PhD. Professor of toxicology at the MIND Institute at UC Davis. He is the director of the Children's Center for Environmental Health and Disease Prevention at the MIND Institute.
