It’s summer and I’ve got nothing to plant!

Audio

Aired 4/19/09

In summer the weather is dry and the soil is hot. For the most part, that means this isn't the time to stick things in the ground. But there is room for cultivation of some varieties of plants. We'll find out what those things are, we'll talk about blooming plants that will do well in pots, and take calls on all gardening matters from our listeners.

Guests:

  • Mary McBride . Owner of Mary's Garden Nursery.
  • Tom Piergrossi . Wholesale nursery owner and host of the gardening show "Down to Earth" on the County Television Network.
