SPECIAL COVERAGE: Living With Wildfires: San Diego Firestorm 10 Years Later

San Diego Horse Fire continues to burn: Residents on standby

Authorities say a wildfire that forced the evacuation of more than 100 homes near the border may have been caused by an abandoned campfire set by illegal immigrants. The Forest Service says the fire appears to have spread early Saturday. It prompted sheriff's deputies to order 125 homes evacuated in Alpine Sunday. People who live in Pine Valley and Lake Morena have been told to remain on standby.
