Cupcake Brown shares her story of recovery from addiction and abuse

The New York Times describes A Piece of Cake as a calamity-packed addiction memoir. Tom Fudge speaks with the author, Cupcake Brown, about her story from prostitution, abuse and addiction to a thriving legal career. And finds out how she has been impacted by the controversy surrounding James Frey and his memoir, A Million Little Pieces .
Cupcake Brown will be signing copies of her book at Borders Mission Valley tonight, 3/8/06, at 7 pm. Borders is located at 1072 Camino Del Rio North.
- Cupcake Brown , is the author of A Piece of Cake . It is the account of her life from prostitution, addiction and abuse to law career at Bingham McCutchen in San Fransisco. Cupcake Brown lived in San Diego for much of her life.
