More gay teens are coming out of the closet and declaring their sexual orientation. In fact several academic studies found gay teenagers are coming out on average by age 15 or 16. What is it like growing up gay?

  • Ritch Savin-Williams , professor at Cornell University. He is the author of The New Gay Teenager. He has studied gay youth for more than two decades.
