Some major cities have efforts underway to provide wireless internet services across the city. Host Tom Fudge talks about wi-fi with his guests: Marc Palumbo from Socalfreenet, Glenn Fleishman, Editor of WiFi Networking News, and Martha Dennis, from the San Diego Commission on Science and Technology.
- Glenn Fleishman is a freelance technology writer and the editor of WiFi Networking news.
- Marc Palumbo is the Creative Director for socalfreenet - a group that helps provide free wi-fi internet access in areas throughout San Diego.
- Martha Dennis is the Chair of the San Diego Commission on Science and Technology which is currently exploring the possibility of city-wide wi-fi services.
