The girl bands are coming to San Diego this weekend. Freelance journalist Ana-Maria Stephens talks about what is going on this weekend and why you might want to take in one of those shows.
  • Joan Jett and the Blackhearts play the House of Blues on Monday November 6th at 7 p.m.
  • Regina Spektor plays this Sunday night at 8 p.m. at Canes.
  • The Bird and the Bee play next Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the House of Blues.
  • Zoe Keating plays Acoustic Music San Diego in Normal Heights on Tuesday, the 7th.
  • The exhibition LOVE Requires Action opens on Friday at gallery Voice 1156 in downtown San Diego.
