Evangelical Churches Growing in America

Audio

Tom Fudge : Conservative Christians, in the American evangelical movement, have been staunch allies of the Republican Party. But that alliance seems to be breaking down, or at least becoming less potent, given the results of last week’s election. We’ll talk about the size and shape of Christian evangelism in this country. And we’ll ask whether the movement is moving beyond its emphasis on traditional values.

Guests
  • John Evans , associate professor of sociology specializing in American religions and politics at UCSD.
  • Rebecca Moore, professor of religious studies at San Diego State University.
