The temperatures are cooling down a bit in the Imperial Valley. Meanwhile, a few issues are starting to heat up. The lining of the All American Canal has been stalled, due to a court order. Lining the canal is a water conservation project and a vital part of a deal to share water with San Diego. Also, farmers are sweating bullets over the future of the winter spinach crop, which could be a financial bust due to enduring concerns about E. coli.
