Gilbet Castellanos is a leader in the San Diego jazz scene and teacher. He recently released a new album, Underground , that won an SDMA award for Best Jazz Album. He speaks with host Tom Fudge for a performance chat in the KPBS Performance Studio.

Gilbert will be performing this weekend at the San Diego City College International Book Fair Saturday, Oct.14 at 5:30 p.m. He also performs at Onyx Room downtown every Tuesday.
