Tom Fudge: The Wiz kids have taken the stage at La Jolla Playhouse. And two real twins play Siamese twins in Sideshow, a story of real sisters at Broadway Theater in Vista. Pat Launer, KPBS theater critic, discusses these and a variety of other offerings in local theaters this weekend.

The Wiz runs through November 26th at the La Jolla Playhouse.

I Hate Hamlet opens tonight and runs through November 12th at the Broadway Theater in Vista.

Since Africa opens tonight and runs through the 29th at Diversionary Theater.
 
Bug opens at Cygnet Theater on Saturday night and runs through November 19th.

The Golem opens this weekend and plays Sunday through Wednesdays until November 8th. It’s at 6th at Penn Theater in Hillcrest.
