Two years ago, visual artist Doris Bittar won a Peacemaker Award for organizing dialogues between Arabs and Jews. Now she is exhibiting her photographs of life in the Middle East taken over the last two years – a time of political turmoil which continues to this day. Host Gloria Penner talks to the artist about her work.
The exhibit, Uncle Hanna’s Electric Heart and Other Stories of Resistance, can be seen at Southwestern College Art Gallery until November 2.
