Tom Fudge: Halloween is at hand, and this weekend there will be plenty of ghoulish events in San Diego to help get people into the spirit.

Events
  • The midnight screening of Shaun of the Dead at Landmark’s La Jolla Village theater is this Saturday.
  • The Casbah’s Halloween Burlesque takes place tomorrow night.
  • Trick or Treat on Maryland Street in University Heights is on Wednesday, Halloween night.
  • The Dia de los Muertos celebration takes place in Oceanside on Sunday from 10 to 6 p.m.
