Former head of San Diego’s FBI office talks about San Diego terrorism connections
Monday, September 11, 2006
Bill Gore, who headed the FBI's San Diego office in 2001, talks to Amita Sharma about his reaction when he found out that two of the September 11th hijackers lived locally. He'll respond to investigative reports faulting his office for failing to identify the hijackers on five separate occasions. Gore will also talk about whether the FBI's intelligence in the San Diego Muslim community is strong enough to thwart another attack if the plot is hatched locally.
