BBC Mundo Journalists Travel Across U.S. Speaking Only Spanish
Maureen Cavanaugh (Guest Host): The British Broadcasting Company has a lot of different news services, including of course, the BBC World Today , you hear every evening on KPBS Radio. One of their services is called BBC Mundo , and it covers Latin America. As an assignment, two journalists from BBC Mundo decided to go on a road trip across the southern half of the United States. Their mission was to see if they could make the journey from Florida to L.A. speaking only Spanish. They have just completed their journey and they are speaking to us from Los Angeles.
