No, how about this: you catch a game-winning homerun ball.... no, no even better... you catch a record-breaking homerun ball. But, not just any record. You catch the homerun ball that smashes the existing career homerun record. Sounds great, right? Well, maybe. There are tax questions about the ball, liability questions about the scramble for the ball, and there can be both tax and legal questions about the ownership of the ball.
