San Diego Author Presents New Crime Novel

Tom Fudge:  T. Jefferson Parker has been writing crime novels for many years, and his milieu is southern California.  Many of his stories are set in Orange and San Diego Counties.  A resident of Fallbrook, Jeff's last novel was a murder mystery called The Fallen who's main character was a San Diego cop.

His new novel is called Storm Runners .  Its main character is a Santa Ana police detective named Matt Stormstroe.  Early in the story, Matt's wife and son are murdered in a bomb blast that was meant to kill Matt.  As he recovers from his injuries and his depression, he picks up some work as a bodyguard for a TV weather woman in San Diego.  Matt's new client is being stalked.  And we soon learn that this is no ordinary weather girl.  In fact, she is the descendent of a legendary rain maker.  And she has a powerful secret that has some very bad guys pursuing her.
