The Los Angeles Times' San Diego Bureau Chief Tony Perry speaks with Full Focus host Gloria Penner from Bahrain, the tiny island nation in the Persian Gulf.

For the last seven weeks, the San Diego Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times has been covering the Iraq War with the 1st Expeditionary Force of Camp Pendleton Marines. This morning, Tony Perry was in Bahrain, the tiny island nation in the Persian Gulf. He was leaving tonight to join the U.S. Navy in the North Arabian Sea for a closer look at the efforts to safeguard Iraq's oil supply. Host Gloria Penner spoke with Tony by phone.
