Sports Journalist Credits Father for Her Successful Career

Alison St John (Guest Host): How often have you thought back to things you did with your father, ways in which who he was affected who you are today? Our guest on These Days has a celebrated career as a sports writer, writing columns for USA Today and as a broadcast sports commentator. She hands some of the credit for her love of sports to her father who, back in the 1960s, taught her that she could be whatever she wanted to be, in the days when women and sports didn't mix like they do today.
