Alison St John (Guest Host): One of the most wonderful things about living in San Diego is being able to go to the coast and look out across the Pacific Ocean. Just the sight of seagulls and pelicans soaring over the surface of the waves and the expanse of the water stretching to the horizon to meet the sky makes you breathe deeper and relax.

Sunset Cliffs is one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in San Diego. Just south of Ocean Beach, it's a strip of almost surreally beautiful cliffs that surfers scramble up and down, and locals walk their dogs along. The trouble is that Sunset Cliffs is eroding and becoming more and more dangerous for walkers. The city of San Diego is finally taking notice and considering what to do.
