Bay Front is Booming in Chula Vista

Tom Fudge:  Earlier this week, the San Diego Port Authority voted to side with Chula Vista in its desire to tear down a South Bay power plant. The power plant is owned by the Port Authority and operated by New Jersey-based LS Power. It's been considered a blight on the bay-scape for many years -- not to mention an obstacle to Chula Vista's bay front development plans.

The Port of San Diego and the City of Chula Vista will hold public workshops about the Chula Vista Bay Front Master Plan on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Chula Vista City Council Chambers on Fourth Avenue.
