The Iraq War

To start with, props to the WWE for offering to settle the fight between Obama and Clinton. I would personally love to see these two wrestle for the nomination, and it'd save a lot of time. But, my money is that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would 'stunner' them both to take the nomination.

In other news, I was pleasantly shocked by Bush announcing support for troop withdrawal in Iraq. This is very welcome news to me, not just as a Libertarian, but also as someone against the war in Iraq.

Since it began, I swore up and down we had no business being in Iraq. In my opinion, we were lied to in order to get troops over there to finish up our President's Father's work. And even Bush Sr. was against the war.

You pick someone that makes decisions based on what's good for the country.. not necessarily their political standing in a party. You pick someone that is honest. You pick someone that stands by their words. You pick someone that, when misunderstood, doesn't change their tune but tries to clarify their meaning. You choose someone that doesn't take someone's human moment from a gruelling campaign trail and beat them over the head with it. You choose someone that repairs relations rather than breaks them down. You choose someone that doesn't complain. You choose someone you can trust to do what's right. Someone that can think on their feet. Someone that will give you the reasons why they aren't pulling everyone out of Iraq instantly if that isn't the right thing to do. You choose a person that isn't a puppet. You choose Obama!
