Blind Olympian Soars Past the Competition

Alan Ray : Like many world-class American athletes, Elexis Gillette has been training this summer at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center. Unlike other world-class athletes with hopes for Gold in Beijing, he's still in the US and he's blind. 

But he'll be packing and leaving soon for Beijing and the 2008 Paralympic Games where he'll compete in the long jump, triple jump, and the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
