California is well-represented at the Democratic National Convention this week with 441 delegates. It's considered the most diverse delegation in the nation.

Joining us on Morning Edition is KPBS political correspondent Gloria. She's in Denver this week at the DNC and spent some time with the chair of the San Diego Democratic Party, who is not a delegate to the convention.
