Police say 17-year-old Monique Palmer and 15-year-old Michael Taylor were shot and killed as they were leaving a party in the Valencia Park area early on the morning of December 6th.  They were walking with friends away from the part when three vehicles loaded with suspected gang members drove past them, People in the vehicles flashed guns and gang signs. Later that day 18-year-old Derrelle Oliver was arrested. He was charged then with assault with a deadly weapon for threatening people at the party with a gun...and later with directly threatening Palmer and her friends.

A day after the shootings, Oliver was released on bond.

After continuing investigation by the Police Gang Suppression Unit Oliver was re-arrested at his home in the Rolando area last night...and he's been booked into the county jail on two counts of murder.
