Eldar is a 20-year-old jazz pianist who is sometimes called the Tiger Woods of jazz piano. His third album from Sony BMG Masterworks, called "Re-imagination" was released on June 5. Eldar talks about

Tom Fudge: When you're a jazz pianist and you make a CD for Sony, that's good for your professional reputation. And if you're only 20 years old, people really take notice. Today, the musician that people are noticing is Eldar.

Eldar's CD is called Re-imagination . It features him on keyboards along with some other jazz notables such as drummer Ali Jackson Jr. For us, in San Diego, it's also interesting to know that this young prodigy grew up in our town, even though it's worth mentioning that he and his parents are also Russians immigrants.
