Bruce Campbell at Comic-Con -- Hail to the King Baby!

Campbell seemed to be everywhere that weekend - he was doing book signings, hosting screenings, and offering his particular brand of humor and insight on multiple panels. Campbell gained cult fame after starring in Raimi's Evil Dead Trilogy . But he was unfairly overlooked for an Oscar for his brilliant work as an aging Elvis who fights a mummy in Bubba Ho-Tep . (I'm not joking, Oscar-worthy work because it's so damn original!). Campbell is currently in the popular TV series Burn Notice , which just had its second season premiere. Last year he directed My Name is Bruce , a horror comedy in which he plays himself (sort of) but is mistaken for his character Ash by some townsfolk who need to fight off a monster. The film looks hilarious but has yet to open theatrically. Hey, how about showing it here at Comic-Con?! I hope that was loud enough for someone at Dark Horse or Image Entertainment to hear me.
