Dan Eaton Talks about Civil Servants and the Rights to Free Expression You Don’t Have on the Internet

Audio

Aired 4/19/09

Audio will be posted later today.

Tom Fudge: Today the San Diego city council is expected to discuss a proposal that deputy city attorneys be made classified civil servants. It's an effort to protect the jobs of the City Attorney's legal staff, and make them professional bureaucrats rather than political appointees. Also, do you have the right to free speech on the Internet? Not if the organization trying to censor you is a privately-owned Internet provider.

Guest

Dan Eaton, San Diego attorney and the These Days legal analyst. Dan is also a former San Diego civil service commissioner.
