Survivor: American Edition

Like the cast members of reality shows, some candidates will go on to write books, hit the speaking circuit or do TV gigs to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame, while others will disappear without even an appearance on Saturday Night Live. Who will outwit, outlast and outplay the best? & Who will be the ultimate survivor of Election 2008? &

Like Survivor, a lot of people have grown tired of watching the debates, but every now and then find themselves drawn back out of curiosity. Candidates have appeared on comedy talk shows ranging from Jon Stewart to Jay Leno & as they realize they need to connect with a fan base who is more familiar with Jeff Probst than Chris Matthews .

So will the winner be the candidate who puts on the best show? How much are you persuaded by a candidate's TV persona?

Senator Barack Obama seems to have created quite a charismatic campaign that Rush Limbaugh describes as "messianic." & Will the fact that Obama received the endorsement from daytime's Diva, Oprah Winfrey, tip the scale for him? Are Americans voting with their remote controls? &

I'd love to hear from all of you out there who are drinking that Obama Water to hear what caught your attention initially and what's keeping you & ldquo;tuned in & rdquo;? &

There are historical stakes in this election. We don't have an incumbent president or vice president running for the first time since 1952. The country is voting while American troops are fighting & ndash; something that hasn't happened since the 1940's. Most important, we've watched an African-American man and a woman competing to be the leader of the free world. That makes for a great made-for-TV movie. &
