After five years of the Iraq War and 4000 American troops lost, two films are being released that showcase the high price of the Iraq conflict.

Maureen Cavanaugh (Guest Host): This is a month of grim milestones for the conflict in Iraq. We reached the fifth anniversary of the war, and earlier this week, came news that that the conflict has now claimed 4,000 American lives.

Movie makers are increasingly using the Iraq war as the subject of films..and two new Iraq war movies open in San Diego this week.

The theatrical film Stop-Loss stars actor Ryan Phillippe and is directed by Kimberly Pierce. And the documentary is called Fighting for Life -- about doctors serving on the front lines. It's directed by Terry Sanders.
