San Diegan Voters Weigh-In on Media's Election Coverage

San Diegans are turning out in droves today to cast their ballots. And they're also weighing in on how they feel the media has covered the election. KPBS Reporter Kenny Goldberg has more.

After he cast his ballot, North County resident Eldon Chapman said the media showed its true colors during this election season.

Chapman : The press is liberal. They are biased, liberal, and not truthful.

Voter Pamela Edwards said the media didn't cover things in an evenhanded way.

Edwards : For the most part, they were pretty unfair to the Republican candidates.

Mike Romer, on the other hand, thought the press played things pretty straight.

Romer : I think they handled it fairly. I mean it depends on what network you listened to, you know. Obviously CNN is leaning more towards the Democrats. Fox is more towards the Republican side.

No matter how voters view the media, they'll likely be tuning in tonight to watch the returns.
