Lady Dottie and the Diamonds Perform Live
Tom Fudge: Sixty one years ago Lady Dottie was born in Talladega, Alabama, where she was also raised. Now she lives in San Diego. But the thing that's never changed in her life is her love for music. She sang gospel as a young kid. She fell in love with rhythm and blues when she became a teenager. And now she performs that music as a member of Lady Dottie and the Diamonds. She and her group are the winners of several San Diego music Awards. And their brand new album is called Lady Dottie and the Diamonds. They perform live in our studio.
Since winning multiple San Diego music awards and garnering a strong following for their live shows, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds have become a popular staple in the San Diego music scene. They join us in studio to perform and talk about their love of the blues.
