Fire officials say the brush fire on Camp Pendleton that broke out yesterday afternoon is now 25-percent contained. The Juliet Fire on-base has burned 3,000 acres and is still burning out of control.
It has caused several thousand people to evacuate from the base and surrounding neighborhoods in Oceanside.
But luckily, firefighters say no structures have been lost and no one has been injured.
In the North County, there's the Juliet Fire at Camp Pendleton and Oceanside.
KPBS reporter Ed Joyce is there and he joins us live.
