Culture Clash Delves into California Politics

Tom Fudge : Culture Clash is a satirical acting ensemble that is well-known to San Diegans. Culture Clash has a long-standing association with the San Diego Repertory Theatre, and they've written a play about San Diego called Bordertown.

The members of Culture Clash are comic actors and writers. But they've always joked about serious subjects. And their latest play, written by founding Clash member Richard Montoya, is a serious dramatic play. It's called Water and Power. The play's name refers to the names of its two primary characters, but also to the history of Southern California. Water and Power is being performed at the San Diego Rep though the middle of next month.
