The city of Chula Vista announced plans today to honor the Park View Little League All-Stars when the team returns from the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

The Sept. 4 festivities will start with a procession through Chula Vista and conclude with a rally and festival at Memorial Park and Bowl, featuring food and music, including a performance by the Castle Park High School Trojan Marching Band.

For the procession, the team will board a Chula Vista Fire Department ladder truck escorted by a police motorcade. The truck will depart the CVFD's F Street Fire Station and head north on Fourth Avenue, then turn right on E Street and proceed down Third Avenue to Park Way.
