Maureen Cavanaugh: Our series of interviews with the members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors continues this morning with a chat with Supervisor Bill Horn, who represents the 5th District, which covers the North County from the coast inland to Anza-Borrego. The County Board of Supervisors controls a $5 billion dollar budget and provides critical services from health care to public safety and firefighting. And yet, many San Diegans are not really familiar with the work, or the members of the Board of Supervisors.
