Local homeless shelters have seen an increase in people seeking aid over the last few months. How has the current economic downturn affected the local homeless population? And, what can our government do to help those people who are now living on the street?
Also, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said California's massive deficit is a "rock upon our chest," and the state can't move ahead with any other significant business until the budget gap is closed. Why can't lawmakers in Sacramento come together to reach a budget deal?
