Local Congressional Delegates Discuss Economy, Border Violence, Bipartisanship
Tuesday, March 10, 2009
Alan Ray: It was the late Boston Congressman and House Speaker Tip O'Neil who said, "All politics is local." That may be nowhere more evident, or more true, than in the huge federal stimulus package approved in Congress without a single Republican vote in the House. - Brian Bilbray, Republican congressman representing California's 50th Congressional District.
- Bob Filner, Democratic congressman representing California's 51st Congressional District.
