Check out the teaser for David Simon's new project for HBO. "Treme" is set in post-Katrina New Orleans and follows the lives of musicians in the famous titular neighborhood. Simon says he's also going to address political corruption, crime, public housing, tourism after Katrina, and Mardi Gras Indians. Ummm, yeah. I'm in love already.

I have to say that I love this show. I think some are disappointed that it does not reflect a true depiction of the actual events of the disaster. For those of you who feel that way, I would suggest you watch a documentary of the actual events and not look to a television series to "fill you in" on what really happened.
