San Diego-Based Invisible Children Worker Killed In Terrorist Attack

A San Diego man was killed Sunday by a series of synchronized explosions that ripped through a rugby field where hundreds of people had gathered to watch the final match of the World Cup.

Nate "Oteka'' Henn was killed, along with more than 50 other people, according to Invisible Children, a San Diego-based nonprofit group that advocates for Ugandan children forced to be soldiers. Henn worked for Invisible Children.

The bomb struck at 10:30 p.m. local time in the middle of the match between Spain and the Netherlands. Ugandan police officials said they suspected that the Shabab, a militant Islamic group in nearby Somalia, might be behind it, The New York Times reported.
