Two earthquakes, seconds apart, rattled Southern California on Saturday night. The first, a 4.9-magnitude quake struck at 8:08 p.m., followed by a 4.5-magnitude quake seconds later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter of the earthquakes was approximately 15 miles NW of Borrego Springs.
The San Diego Sheriff's Department said there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
