Creator Anthony Horowitz

In this interview , Horowitz opens up about the return of Foyle, the history behind the new episodes and the future.

"Foyle's War" has been described by The Wall Street Journal as "a triumph from start to finish." Set along the South Coast of England in the 1940s, "Foyle's War" stars Michael Kitchen as Christopher Foyle, the straightforward sleuth who fights his own battles on the home front while war rages across Europe — that is, until now. The war in Europe is over, and Foyle hopes his crime-fighting days are too. But murder knows no respite in the seaside town of Hastings, and the unflappable chief must solve a trio of his most challenging cases yet.

In this episode, newly retired, Foyle is drawn to the case of a well-connected local man who is condemned to death for aiding the Nazis during the war. Foyle suspects the doomed man is concealing evidence that will exonerate him. Meanwhile, Sam (Honeysuckle Weeks) and Adam (Max Brown) fight for the survival of their rooming house — and discover they make a great team.

"Foyle's War, Series Five: The Hide" is available for online viewing May 17 - June 15, 2010, Eastern Time.
