Inspector Morse is a character from the detective novels by British author Colin Dexter. John Thaw stars as a most unlikely detective in the massively popular, award-winning television series of murder mysteries.

Widely acclaimed by critics, the series attracts millions of viewers worldwide. Oxford's most famous export, the unique character of Inspector Endeavour Morse, has proven to be one of the world's most popular detective dramas.

Stolen paintings, missing professors, an apparent suicide and a strangled playboy are among the baffling cases that Inspector Morse and Sergeant Lewis face in this season of INSPECTOR MORSE.

"Happy Families," Parts One & Two - When one of Britain's wealthiest businessmen is found murdered, Inspector Morse and his sidekick Sgt. Lewis (Kevin Whately) are assigned the case. Their investigations lead them to a family void of grief who are far more concerned with the impending changes to their share of the business. While the press and his peers provoke the Inspector to make an early determination on the case, another member of the family is murdered.
